LinkedIn thought leadership tools for executives

The best setup for an executive team is one where leaders bring what they already know, a content agent turns it into posts and graphics in each leader's voice, and one person signs off before anything goes live. Everyone sits on one calendar, and you measure from published posts all the way to closed won. If you want to see the full workflow, our B2B SaaS page at useimagine.ai/for/b2b-saas walks through it step by step.

Executive inputs

Your executives already have the raw material. It's in their sales calls, their customer conversations and the opinions they share in meetings. Give the agent those, plus their past posts, and 20 to 30 standing prompts each leader answers once, like what they believe their industry gets wrong or the question customers ask most.

Each leader keeps a distinct voice. The agent learns how your CEO writes separately from how your CTO writes, so three leaders posting in the same week still sound like three different people.

Editorial review

  • Every profile has one owner on sign-off, usually the leader or the person who knows their voice best.
  • Claims get checked before approval, so numbers, customer names and dates trace back to a source.
  • Sensitive topics like funding, hiring changes or anything legal get escalated to the right person before they're scheduled.
  • Nothing is published until the owner approves it.

Publishing responsibilities

Put everyone on one team calendar so you can see the whole week across leaders and the company page. Decide upfront who publishes what: the company page carries announcements and product news, and personal profiles carry opinions, stories and what each leader is learning. The agent publishes approved posts and keeps the calendar full.

It helps to know which kind of tool fits. A scheduler queues posts you've already written. A content agent writes them, makes the graphics and connects the results to your CRM.

Example outputs

Each week the agent can produce posts for every leader in their own voice, on-brand graphics as single images or multi-image posts, company page posts that line up with what leaders are saying, a weekly warm list for sales, and drafted comments and connection requests that wait for your OK.

Two things our benchmark shows in general. First, every account's engagement follows a log-normal pattern, so the fair way to judge a post is against that account's own typical post, and one viral post tells you little about the rest. Second, in our study of 1,051 B2B companies, the ones that get heard share four habits: diversity, consistency, authenticity and quality. The benchmark is free at benchmark.useimagine.ai.

Measurement

A content touch shows a connection, and it doesn't prove a post caused a deal on its own. We score every post against its author's own typical post, and you can read how in our methodology.

  • Publishing: are leaders posting consistently, week after week?
  • Audience quality: who engaged, and how many of them fit your ICP? MarqVision's 8 posts reached 96 target-audience engagers.
  • Sales conversations: which engagers turned into conversations, through the weekly warm list and follow-ups you approved?
  • Pipeline influence: which open deals in HubSpot or Salesforce include people who engaged?
  • Closed won: which closed deals trace back to a first content touch?

See: Benchmark methodology, MarqVision case study, The B2B SaaS workflow

How to choose

  • Pick a tool that keeps each leader's voice distinct and gives every profile a clear owner on sign-off.
  • Make sure nothing publishes or sends without a person's OK.
  • Choose measurement that goes past reach to ICP fit and your CRM, so you can talk about pipeline with your sales team.

What the agent can do.

The agent has its own computer and browser, so it finds the people and the news itself, then drafts every post, comment, connection note and message for you to approve.

[01]On

Writes in each person's voice

Drafts for the company page, founders, executives and employees from each person's best posts. Imagine AI started as the operating system for ghostwriting teams, so sounding like you is the core of the product.

[02]On

Designs the graphics

Multi-image posts, infographics and visuals from your brand kit, made in its own sandbox, with the right people and companies tagged.

[03]On

Has its own computer and browser

It does the legwork itself: finds the people, checks job changes, launches and funding news, reads the sources and fact-checks claims before anything ships.

[04]On

Engages for you

Comments, connection requests and messages on LinkedIn, aimed at the people your posts pull in who match your ICP.

[05]On

Runs one calendar for the team

Plan launches, sequence posts, schedule comments and edit together. Approvals sit with each person or route through one owner.

[06]On

Works from your content filesystem

Positioning, brand kit, decks, campaigns and compliance rules in one place it reads before every draft, remembered across threads.

[07]On

Turns what you have into posts

Events, podcast episodes, videos, decks and call notes become a week of posts across the team.

[08]On

Knows what works

Reads the public benchmark of 1,000+ B2B companies and tracks your competitors, so post types and formats follow your industry's data.

[09]On

Finds the buyers in your audience

Matches everyone who engages to your ICP and hands sales a worked list every week.

[10]On

Maps content to revenue

Connects to HubSpot or Salesforce and traces each closed deal back to its first content touch: post, person, deal stage moves.

[11]On

Plugs into your stack

Engager data over API and webhooks, and the benchmark over MCP for your own agents.

One agent. It starts with LinkedIn.

Always-on publishing

It drafts the post and the graphic

Ask once. It researches, writes in each person's voice, designs the graphic and puts it on the calendar for review.

Engagement

It comments, connects and messages

It finds the engagers who match your ICP, comments on their posts, sends connection requests and drafts a note. You approve.
